The 2025 VALORANT Game Changers Championship is set to begin Nov. 20 at LoL Park in Seoul, marking the first time the global women’s event has been hosted in Asia. Riot Games confirmed the full list of 10 qualifying teams and detailed the fan programs that will run throughout the 11-day competition.
Game Changers, created to expand opportunities for women within VALORANT esports, crowns the top women’s team in the world each year. This year’s tournament will take place at LoL Park in the Gran Seoul complex, which will be temporarily rebranded as “VAL Park” for the duration of the event.
Teams from the Pacific, Americas, EMEA and China regions have qualified. Pacific representatives include regional champion Xipto GC and runner-up Ninetails—the first Korean team to reach the Game Changers Championship. China’s spot is held by Nova Esports GC following its Stage 2 victory.
Americas contenders include Shopify Rebellion Gold, Team Liquid Brazil, KRÜ Blaze and Made In Brazil GC. From EMEA, G2 Gozen, Karmine Corp GC and GIANTX GC complete the field.
Shopify Rebellion Gold enters as one of the strongest favorites. The North American team won the 2023 and 2024 titles after placing second in 2022. G2 Gozen, the 2022 champion, has reached the top four every year.
Ninetails to Represent Korea
Ninetails’ debut on the world stage is expected to draw significant local attention, with the Korean team opening its tournament run against China’s Nova Esports GC on Nov. 20. Korean organizations competing in the VALORANT Champions Tour Pacific League—including Nongshim RedForce, T1, DRX and Gen.G Esports—will join the festivities with on-site autograph sessions.
Tournament play follows a double-elimination format through Nov. 30. The upper-bracket final and lower-bracket semifinal will be held Nov. 28, followed by the lower-bracket final on Nov. 29 and the best-of-five grand final on Nov. 30.
Fans attending the event will have access to interactive booths, influencer show matches and daily activities inside the themed venue. Ticketholders will also receive perks such as entry to experiential zones and a five-hour pass for Riot PC cafés. Tickets are available through NOL Ticket.
