[Official] Dignitas announces aphromoo as starting LCS support

Dignitas are rounding out their roster, signing long-time veteran and first ever support to win LCS MVP, Zaqueri "aphromoo" Black. He joins Johnson "Johnsun" Nguyen, a prospect scouted by TSM last year, in the bot lane, who was acquired by Dignitas in an earlier move this off-season.

Most recently, aphromoo was on 100 Thieves, playing with them for their first two years in the LCS, leading them to one domestic Finals and Worlds competition. After their signing of Bae "Bang" Jun-sik last year, the team failed to find the same synergy, and has made a lot of off-season changes of their own.

Those changes found aphromoo in the free agency, where he has been picked up by another league veteran, Dignitas, who made their return last summer after buying out Clutch Gaming's franchise spot. Currently, Dignitas has confirmed both Heo "Huni" Seung-hoon and Johnsun, but an ESPN report lists the other two members as Jonathan "Grig" Armao and Henrik "Froggen" Hansen.

This roster provides a mix of strong veteran talent with one relatively untested prospect, but who is said to be rather strong. Dignitas should, however, look to sign a strong, known-quantity for their Academy AD postition for security throughout the season. Many of these players have been known to have strong personalities, but if they mesh well, this roster provides strength across the board, and should be playoff contenders.

Dig has yet to confirm the rest of the roster, but stay tuned for their final updates, as well as announcements of their Academy squad and other off-season changes.
