A Demo Version of CCP Games’ New Title, EVE Aether Wars, to be Unveiled at G-Star 2019

A demo version of Hadean and CCP Games’ newest title, ‘EVE Aether Wars’, will be unveiled at G-Star 2019.

On Oct. 31st (KST), the Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC) has sanctioned the ‘Testing’ rating for Hadean and CCP Games’ newest collaborative title. Hadean was founded in 2015 and is located in London, UK. CCP Games utilizes the ‘Aether Engine’, a technology developed by Hadean, in their ‘EVE Online’ IP to push the boundaries of large-scale, multiplayer experiences, and bring forth something completely unique.

On Aug. 9th of this year, Pearl Abyss, CCP Games’ parent company, previously unveiled ‘EVE Aether Wars’ through a conference call. At the time, the CFO of Pearl Abyss, Seokwoo Joh, commented, “It’s more of an experimental title, but it will serve as an inspiration for many games that are and will be serviced by Pearl Abyss, and it will be a game to challenge the various technological boundaries.”

At the Hadean booth of GDC 2019, ‘EVE Aether Wars’ had a record of 3,852 players participate in a single match. Currently, the goal for Hadean and CCP Games is to host 10,000 players at once.

At G-Star 2019, Hadean will unveil the demo version of ‘EVE Aether Wars’ through BADA Games, who specialize in publishing indie games.
