[Rift Rivals] SKT Clid: “I’ve never had the impression that Ning is that amazing. I would need to be more aware of my own performance.”

SK Telecom T1 announced a good start for the LCK by defeating Flash Wolves in the opening match of the 2019 Rift Rivals. It was a nearly perfect match for them. We were able to interview Kim “Clid” Tae-min after the match where Clid evaluated his next opponent: Invictus Gaming’s jungler, Ning.

It’s your first Rift Rivals appearance. How did it feel playing here?

Although it was my first match, there’s not much of a first impression. I think I need to see how other teams play to really feel it. Still, it’s really convenient since it’s an international match that’s held in Korea. There are no language issues although there weren’t many in foreign countries as well.

Your performance against Flash Wolves was really good.

The picks & bans went really well for us; whichever team would have done as well as we did.

At what percentage do you think your current form is at?

Only looking at my plays, I would say 0. I still have a lot to work on.

Your next match will be against Invictus Gaming, and you would be playing against World Finals MVP, Ning.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’ve never had the impression that Ning is that amazing. I would need to be more aware of my own performance and be careful of myself. My recent form wasn’t very good.

Any last comments?

My recent form wasn’t as good as mine during the spring split. Fortunately, it’s coming back up just before Rift Rivals started. I’ll deliver the best performance I can, and have it continue in the LCK.
