The 2019 Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am took place at the Forum in Inglewood, California and was absolutely stacked. Fifty duos piled into the battle bus the day after the Fortnite Block Party to compete for a $3 million dollar prize pool to raise money for charity.

Popular Fortnite stars including Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, Turner "Tfue" Tenney, and Ghost Gaming's Aydan "Aydan" Conrad joined celebrities such as former NFL pro Marshawn Lynch, DJ Dillon Francis, and Panic! at the Disco vocalist Brendon Urie in a colliding of worlds on one of the largest stages in North American gaming.

Prior to his Fortnite career, Airwaks was best known as a professional League of Legends Jungler, primarily for the ROCCAT organization in the EU LCS. Airwaks is yet another shining example of players who have opened an exciting new chapter in converting to Fortnite.

With one Victory Royale and a consistent spread of most elimination across all rounds of the Pro-Am, Airwaks and R.L. Grime triumphed over Aydan and American DJ duo Lost Kings to secure the Golden Pickaxe. Aydan and Lost Kings secured $500,000 of the prize pool to donate to a charity of their choice.

Despite being a competitive event of sorts, the Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am is far more about bringing the eclectic Fortnite community together for a good cause. Ninja, who failed to crack the top 10, summed up the feelings of the day for everyone in a post-Pro-Am tweet:

"Congrats to everyone who played today!! First or last it doesn't matter all money was raised for charity and everyone wins!"

Fans of competitive Fortnite won't want to miss the Fortnite World Cup Qualifiers on June 20th and June 21st.
