T-Wolves Gaming Acquires Jordan “JMoneyRep817” Martinez from Heat Check Gaming

Minneapolis-St. Paul –
 T-Wolves Gaming, the Minnesota Timberwolves NBA 2K League affiliate team, today announced the team has acquired Jordan “JMoneyRep817” Martinez from Heat Check Gaming in exchange for Brandon “Hood” Caicedo.


JMoneyRep817 has appeared in five regular season games this season as Heat Check Gaming’s starting point guard, averaging 15.6 points, 5.4 assists and 1.2 steals per contest. He also scored 27 points while dishing out five assists in Heat Check Gaming’s lone game in the recently-completed “The TURN” Tournament. The rookie was selected 62nd overall in the 2019 NBA 2K League Draft by Heat Check Gaming.


T-Wolves Gaming originally acquired Hood from Cavs Legion Gaming in exchange for the rights to the No. 3 overall selection in the 2019 NBA 2K League Expansion Draft, Timothy “oLARRY” Anselimo. Hood appeared in seven games this season for T-Wolves Gaming, averaging 16.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest.


In their inaugural season in the NBA 2K League, T-Wolves Gaming holds a record of 6-6, including a 2-4 mark in regular season play. T-Wolves Gaming recently completed “The TURN” Tournament, going 2-1, including a 63-59 win over Blazers Gaming.
