SKT T1 Announces Asian Games Coach, Zefa, to Join the Team


Been labeled as the 'dream team' in the LCK, SKT T1 is not only stocking up on their player roster but also their coaching roster as well.  Lee 'Zefa' Jae-min will be joining SKT T1 as coach.

On the 3rd through their official social media, SKT revealed a new coach to join their line up. Former coach of Afreeca Freecs, Zefa will be alongside SKT T1 in the 2019 season. This was the second announcement SKT had made on recruiting coaches. The first being Coach Kim Sang-chul.

In the past, Zefa used to be on Najin e-mFire as an ADC. After, Zefa decided on transferring his responsibilities as the coach for Kongdoo Monster. In 2018, Zefa joined Afreeca Freecs, besides Coach Comet, and was able to achieve 2nd place in the LCK. Following all this, Zefa continued to have a successful year by advancing to the 2018 World Championships. Furthermore, Zefa was the acting coach for the Korean representative team at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games.

With this in mind, SKT T1 has now finished completing their player and coach roster. Having been known as the prominent and successful team of the LCK, SKT T1 has earned the title 'dream team' for a reason. Zefa joining the team and working alongside Coach kkOma, the season of change for SKT T1 has come to an end.
