Former LoL Bottom laner, Gao “WeiXiao” Xue-Chang is making his return to WE as a coach.

On the 30th of July (CST), LPL team WE announced through their Weibo account that their former player Gao “WeiXiao” Xue-Chang will be signing on as a coach.

WeiXiao previously played in WE from 2011-2014 as a bottom laner. He was considered one of the best performing AD carries in the early LoL scene. This prominent player was known to be exceptional on champions such as Ezreal, Corki, and Vayne. Delivering solid performance throughout his LPL career, he hit rank 1 in both Korean and Chinese solo queue.

Though they are signing on some solid help going into the 2018 LPL Summer season, WE is currently in last place for the LPL West Region. With their chances of making it to Worlds very slim, WE secured their first win at home on the 24th of July (CST) against Suning Gaming.

With 4 weeks remaining in the 2018 LPL Summer season, there is much discussion about whether their new coach WeiXiao will manage to bring a new wave for WE.
