Basic Guide to Tournament in Returners: 1st to 6th Place in the League Get to Battle!

Tournament is a part of the League where the top 6 players in a league compete against each other. You will get special rewards depending on the results of the Tournament, and even the players who didn’t make it into the top 6 can enjoy the Tournament by taking part in the winner prediction. The Tournament takes place at 4 PM and ends at 10 PM every Sunday.

Tap on the ‘Tournament’ button and you will see the players who were placed 1st~6th from the League placed in the Tournament bracket. The 1st and 2nd place will be given a walkover while those in 4th and 5th, and 3rd and 6th will battle against each other in the 1st round. Whoever wins in the 1st round will battle against the 1st and 2nd place players during the 2nd round. The surviving players will play against each other in the 3rd and final round.

The Tournament goes in the following order: hero ban, battle settings, then the actual game. Once you enter the Tournament at 4 PM, you will first pick heroes to ban, then change the battle settings 30 minutes later. About 1 hour and 30 minutes later, the 1st round will begin; then the hero ban for the 2nd round begins and so on. The Tournament ends at 10 PM when the 3rd round takes place.

▲ The Tournament schedule. Unlike in the League, you get to pick a hero to ban before you move on to the battle settings.

You can ban heroes by tapping on the ‘Hero Ban’ button between the portraits of two players fighting against each other. You can ban a hero you don’t have, but banning a hero you do have means you also cannot use it, so choose wisely.

However, you get 3 chances in the hero ban so there is no need for you to worry if you made a mistake. The hero ban takes about 30 minutes, and you need to apply the changes within the timer shown on the top left side. You can pick up to 2 heroes to ban.

After you have picked hero bans, make you sure you switch out any banned heroes currently on your team with other heroes or else you will have fewer heroes on your team when the Tournament match starts.

You can get gold as a reward when you win against an opponent player, and based on the match results you can also get Tournament rewards. The rewards you can get depend on your league; you can get 540 enhance material draw tickets and Unleashed Gear as tournament rewards if you are in the gold league.

You can also replay the matches by tapping on ‘View Game’. You can prepare for the next match by looking at your opponents’ strategies, but you can also get Energy as rewards so make sure you view the replays.

Just because you were below 6th in the League ranking doesn’t mean you cannot enjoy the Tournament. You can test your foresight by predicting winners and can even get rewards. The Tournament participants can also make predictions and vote for themselves.

When making your predictions, you’ll see a display with all of the participants, and then you make your predictions starting from the winner, then the runner-up, and so on. The winnings for betting on the League’s 1st place participant are the lowest, while the winnings for betting on the 6th place participant are the highest. You have a total of 3 chances to predict the winners, and you must pick the player within the time given.
