【Event】

The Love & Thanks event for May will begin.
  -  Period: After the maintenance on April 26th ~ before the maintenance on May 31st.
  -  All items in the Pearl Shop will come with a 25% discount, surprise presents for the event, and bonus EXP buffs!

Ar’s Hoe from the ‘Stop the Mutant Lakiahro’ event has been given out to all players.
  -  You can find additional [Event] Ar's Hoe in your inbox and will be able to receive it before the maintenance on May 10th. 

A 100% additional Mount EXP buff will be applied to all servers.
  -  Period: After the maintenance on April 26th ~ before the maintenance on May 3rd.

The areas for the Water Festival event have been changed into combat areas again since the event has come to an end.


【Characters】

The Damage Reduction buff and PvP damage for each class based on Renown Score have been adjusted.
  -  The gaps between the different Damage Reduction buffs were bigger than we expected, and in order to close these gaps, we have adjusted the Damage Reduction buffs based on Renown Score.

  -  From 610+ Renown Score, Damage Reduction buffs will increase by 4 for every 7 additional points to your Renown Score.
  -  The damage for each class has been changed along with the Damage Reduction buffs.

Fixed the issue where the CC effects were applied more than 3 times when a character has a high Ignore Resistance stat.

Fixed the issue where the underwear for the following classes would appear stretched in their combat stances when wearing Le Vladian Underwear:
  -  Valkyrie, Maehwa, Mystic, Dark Knight, Kunoichi, Witch, Sorceress


※ The following are the plans for next week’s balance patch.

The damage for Air Attacks will be reduced.
  -  The damage increase stat for Air Attacks was high compared to other special attacks (Down Attack, Back Attack), considering the effect had a low chance to activate. However, its damage will be reduced since it could only benefit certain classes and possibly result in bigger gaps between classes.

The basic damage for Grab skills will be increased.
  -  Most of the Grab skills have low damage compared to other CC skills; this will be changed along with the change for how CC is applied.

The way CC is applied during freeze will be changed.
  -  The number of CC effects isn’t currently being applied when freeze is in effect; it will be changed next week so that it will be applied just as other CC skills are.


【Berserker】

Fixed the issue where the description for Flow: Ancient Wave didn’t include Down Attack.
Fixed the issue where the description for Flow: General Disarray didn’t include Down Attack.


【Valkyrie】

Fixed the issue where the shoes would appear awkward when equipping the Enslar Armor and the Puff Mini Shoes together.


【Maehwa】

Fixed the issue where the graphics for the chest part appeared awkward when wearing the Flowery Costume in certain customizations.


【Kunoichi & Ninja】

Fixed the issue where the opponent could hear the sound effects when the player used Ghost Step after using Ninjutsu: Oni Shadow.


【Ninja】

Fixed the issue where the Ninja’s Sura Katana combat stance continues when the character picks up loot manually after using Illusion of Restraint.


【Mystic】

Fixed the issue where the Owl Horn-rimmed Glasses would appear awkward when adjusting the glabella with the glasses on during customization.

 

【Lahn】

Fixed the issue where the graphics for the Lahn’s right arm would appear awkward when putting on an underwear.
Fixed the issue where a line would appear under the eye when selecting the 5th eyelash in customization.


【Items】

The following items can now be sold to NPC:
  -  [Event] Steppe Seal
  -  [Event] Meadow Trail

Changed the awkward descriptions for following items:
  -  Abyssal Brass Ingot
  -  Adhesive Leather of Ferocity
  -  Mysterious Abrasive Energy

Fixed the awkward part of the description for Epheria Frigate: Zafina.

Additional Damage will now be applied when hitting an Elephant with [Combat] Trina Matchlock.
  -  The Additional Damage will increase depending on the Enhancement increase on [Combat] Trina Matchlock.
  -  The description on the Additional Damage to Elephants has been added to [Combat] Trina Matchlock.

[Combat] Trina Matchlock’s Additional Damage to Humans has been doubled, as the Damage Reduction buff has been applied based on Renown Score.
※ Additional changes could be made to [Combat] Trina Matchlock’s Additional Damage before Conquest War Season 5 begins.
Characters can now lay more naturally in the Coral Bed.


【Content】

Fixed the issue where the ship would sometimes sink into the land and could not move when the player retrieves it from the NPC at Calpheon Pier.


【Monsters】

The movements of monsters have become more natural when killing hunting birds such as the Seagull or Eagle.

Fixed the issue where Silver Coins were obtained as two seperate items when summoning and killing the Goblin Chief in a special quest.

Moved the location of the Wooden Beehive which couldn’t be shot due to it being stuck close to the ground in Hexe Sanctuary.

The Black Leopards in Kamasylvia will now spawn with some distance in-between.

Fixed the issue where Lapis Lazuli Tree Spirit’s AoE was too narrow compared to how it appeared in-game.

Fixed the issue where Offin Tett rides on Offin even after Offin’s barrier has been destroyed.


【Quest, Knowledge】

Fixed the issue where the lines appeared awkward when accepting the ‘Ardan’s Broken Gemstone #2’ quest.

Fixed the issue where the requirements for accepting certain quests were not properly shown in the list of accepted quests.

The NPCs in escort quests will perceive the players much quicker.

Navigation has been added to certain quests so that players can navigate based on the delivery boxes.

Additional delivery boxes have been added for certain quests.

The location of the box that needs to be delivered has been changed and navigation to the NPC for completing the quest has been added in a certain quest.

Fixed the location of the cows that need to be escorted, and additional cows have been added in a certain quest.

Fixed the issue where the camera angle was awkward when interacting with cows during a certain quest.


【Gameworld, NPC & Effects】

Fixed the navigation for certain NPCs in Grana and Cadry Ruins.

Fixed the issue where the names of the soldiers in Heidel appeared as villagers.

Fixed the issue where the camera angle was awkward when talking with the Berserker soldier in Heidel.

Fixed the issue where the character would be moved under the ground in certain areas of Calpheon.


【UI】

The window for Marketplace and Craft will no longer open simultaneously in Storage.

The Inventory window will close with the Mount Inventory window in Storage.

The Guild Incentive Setting window has been improved.
  -  The spacing in the list of guild members has been increased and lines have been added between the names of the members.


【System】

Fixed the issue where the background of the message that pops up when Ancient Kutum hasn’t been killed in time appears as Nouver.

Fixed the issue where the message did not appear for Imperial Delivery Reset.

Fixed the issue where the game client would be turned off repeatedly when creating a new character.

 

Black Desert Mobile Official English Version will be playable for the first time in the IGEC on May 1st

    How PA don't understand that the major problem in balance is not DP and the biggest issue atm is that how crazy AP scale proportionally to DP and that AP scale for staking AP but DP drastically scale from total gear stat but not from staking DP.

    If they want more longer pvp (not 1-3 skill = kill) then don't rise DP but lower the AP bonus .

    If ppl stack AP they must understand that they inflict high damage and will be able to kill opponent from 1-3 skill but they the same must understand that if the opponent is the same AP they will die from same 1-3 skill but if you want to live then stack some DP and be ready that you will don't die from 1-3 skill but from 3-6 but you will inflict less damage to your opponent and you will kill it from same 3-6 or more skills...

    Next week : AIr attack will be reduce, it is a hard nerf to sorc. Grap will be up its another indirect nerf to sorc. PA hate sorc or what ?

    Where is the balance in this ?

      Amen, and if they just straight up gave everyone more HP, they could have completely avoided the need for yet another complicated formulae and yet ANOTHER meaningless stat (Renown score).

      @Anex Lowering AP means a big destabilization , you just cannot lower the AP scoale . All classes are scalling in a diff way AP and DP wise . It's way better than before now , i personally can enjoy pvp more now .

      On low gear the pvp is fast but on 550+ GS the pvp is better .

    pa hate old loyal players. all they care is new carebears that didnt started donate train and whales who benefit most of this changes. fu pa

    I don't understand dev's logic. "since it could only benefit certain classes and possibly result in bigger gaps between classes" can also be applied to grab skills. The only class which relies on air attack to one-combo people (only when opponents are Stunned/Stiffed since the whole combo is unprotected) while not having any grab skills is SORC. Correct me if I am wrong.

    Lets not forget that BDO is the only true action MMORPG , PA still needs to experience the balance in the game . Never first genre of a game was perfect and never it will be because players have diff builds and can troll or break the game by going full ap or full evasion witch means 0 cc .
