JAG Wraith: "Our teammates were typing in chat, 'let's play a 120-minute long game.' I was scared"

Jin Air Green Wing's botlane shined the brightest today. On the 24th of January, JAG secured a clean 2-0 victory over MVP.

From the beginning to end, Teddy displayed top performance and hard-carried the series. But wherever Teddy was, there stood Wraith, right beside him. During game 1, Wraith completely obliterated the laning phase, and during game 2, he contributed massively to his team's victory with Braum.

The following is an interview done with JAG's support player, Wraith.

You took a clean 2-0 victory. How do you feel?

It feels good having won in such a clean fashion. I worried that today's match was also going to be drawn-out. I think we played rather well today. It was clean.

Did the last series, the one where you experienced the longest game by far in League of Legends, affect you in any way?

Our teammates were typing in chat during the series, "let's play a 120-minute long game today." I was honestly scared.

I got very nervous when they said that. (Laughs)

You displayed great performance with Alistar in game 1. Can you tell us in detail of how you secured those kills in botlane?

I just told the team that I was going in and went in right after. I wasn't expecting a kill, but the situation was really good and it got us the kill.

Teddy's recent performance is really something else. Before joining JAG, what was your opinion of Teddy?

I knew that he was a good player even before joining JAG. I expected good things from him - and he met my expectations.

After leaving KSV, you've been playing in every game as a starter on JAG.

I'm very happy with the fact that I'm playing in every game. Of course, there is pressure, but the feeling of achieving victory and the very fact that I'm playing motivates me.

While practicing after joining JAG, I felt my limits. In some ways, I might be the weakest support player in the LCK. That's why I'm practicing much harder.

Word has been going around that JAG's team atmosphere has gotten a lot better after having won the last series, the one against SKT.

It's gotten better. I've also adapted to the team and its atmosphere, and I think it'll only get better in time.

The players in JAG all have unique and distinct personalities. I don't think I'll be able to tell you who I'm the closest with.

Why did you join JAG?

The first choice I had to make was whether or not I should remain in Korea. In order for me to grow more as a player, I decided to stay. I didn't really have too much of a choice, really.

The players of JAG all seemed to have great potential. I think I made the best decision.

Any final words?

I want to thank all the fans that cheer for us. I also want to thank my teammates, coach, head coach, and the rest of the staff.
