KR esports Fan Keeps His Promise On TSM Making It To Quarterfinals.

A Korean League of Legends gamer made a bet with himself about TSM’s advance into the quarterfinals.

This year in September 18th, an Inven user by the name of ‘Hanganggongjungjebi (Han River Somersault)’ pledged to clean up the Han River if TSM made it to the quarterfinals. However, TSM failed to qualify to the quarterfinals. The pledge now seemed to have meant nothing.

However one month ago (14th of October), the user came back on the threads of Inven with a statement. The user posted “Even though TSM didn’t make it to the quarterfinals, I wanted to do it regardless of TSM making it or not.”. The user claimed that within 2 weeks time he would post a picture proving he cleaned up the river. Other users started hopping on this thread and said things like “We could meet up and do it together” and “We should create a community service group for this”.

In Korean time (30th October), the user posted this picture on the Inven threads and said he cleaned up the river for one and a half hours. It started off as a light promise in hopes for TSM at worlds, but he did his service voluntarily even though he did not need to keep his promise.

The users at Inven praised this user saying “Seeing people perform community service feels good” and all congratulated him for his efforts. Some users even said “You better try harder next year TSM” and rooted TSM on for next year.
