Nexon announced an update roadmap for its online RPG TalesWeaver on November 6, spanning from Q4 2026 through the first half of 2027. The publisher plans to add new combat content while revamping character balance, club systems, and buff systems.

The growth support event 'Burning Rush' will run through December 17. All participating characters receive a 1,000% EXP boost and a +10 movement speed buff. The progression and guide missions consist of 14 stages in total, with completion rewards including 'True Aquilus Weapons and Armor (30 Days)'. Logging in daily provides 'Settlement Support Buffs' that grant increased attack damage and damage reduction, as well as 'Settlement Support Supplies' offering 3,000 Elso.
This roadmap outlines mid- to long-term development plans to continue TalesWeaver's 23-year journey alongside its players. Nexon aims to introduce challenging combat content and drive system improvements tailored to the current play environment.
The 'Emotion Isolation Chamber', set to arrive on November 26, is top-tier content in the 'Rubicona' region. In this single-player boss challenge, players clear a series of chambers where five distinct emotions are sealed. Because each chamber operates under different rules, players must adapt their strategy even when facing the same boss. It is designed with challenging difficulty so players can directly feel the progression of their character and equipment.
In Q1 2027, a balance patch will be implemented focusing on post-delay reduction passives to narrow the combat performance gap between characters. Reflecting player feedback, a new feature will also allow players to select skill effects from before or after character renovations according to their preference.
During the same quarter, Nexon will overhaul the reward structure, progression format, and missions for the competitive club content 'Abandon Road Conquest'. The update will account for the current economy while broadening participation opportunities so more clubs can earn rewards. In Q2, the scope of revamps will expand across the general 'Club System', introducing competitive content where club members work together toward daily and weekly goals.
Buff-related improvements are scheduled for Q2 2027. A new buff system distinct from the previous item-based method will be introduced, and buff durations will no longer decrease while residing in towns. Detailed information about the roadmap can be found on the official TalesWeaver website.
