H2 Interactive announced on the 5th that it has officially released the Korean localized physical edition of RuneScape: Dragonwilds for PlayStation 5. The game is an open-world survival crafting title that sold over 1.5 million copies during Steam Early Access.
Developed by Jagex, the title marks the first console release in the 20-year history of the RuneScape series and is a standalone game independent from the original RuneScape MMORPG. While the digital download version was previously released on PS5, the physical boxed edition is now available.
Players explore 'Ashenfall,' a continent set within the RuneScape universe. As they complete regional quests and master various skills, players establish their survival foundation by gathering resources and crafting gear. The game also tasks players with tracking traces of dragons, unraveling the continent's mysteries, and preparing for a showdown with the 'Dragon Queen.'
'Anima,' a magical force, is utilized not only in combat but also for gathering and building. By casting various spells, such as instantly felling trees or teleporting away from danger, players can secure resources and overcome obstacles encountered during exploration.
Exploration can be undertaken solo or in up to four-player co-op alongside up to three other players. Teaming up allows players to build bases and face enemies together, with full cross-play supported across PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S.
Content and gameplay experiences will be continuously improved based on community feedback. Details regarding future content updates and patches can be found on the game's official website.
