Cygames officially released Where the Seeds Fall, the debut title from its new game brand CygamesEdge, on November 5. The main story takes approximately three hours to complete, and the game is available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, and other platforms.
Where the Seeds Fall is a dramatic collapse action-adventure game centered on controlling your descent. Players must pay close attention to platform footing and wind movement, and after clearing the main story, they can take on high-difficulty maps and time attack modes.
The game is set in a world where humanity has built a civilization on the branches of the World Tree due to surface contamination. A soldier who lost his daughter encounters the 'Child of Calamity,' a entity that brings collapse to the world. Though he initially attempts to kill the child, he grows attached to her as she resembles his deceased daughter. Together, the two embark on a journey descending toward the surface while evading pursuers.
An opening video released alongside the launch introduces the game's world and narrative setup. The video can be viewed on the official CygamesEdge YouTube channel.
On-site playable demos are also planned. CygamesEdge will showcase Where the Seeds Fall at the G-STAR 2026 Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy, held from November 19 to 22 at BEXCO in Busan.
Where the Seeds Fall is a single-player game supporting Korean, Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. It carries an age rating of IARC 12+.
