Riot Games announced that the 2026 LCK Awards will be held on December 16 at CHZZK LoL Park in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The awards ceremony will announce awards including the Player of the Year and Position Player of the Year.
Riot Games, organizer of League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK), the Korean professional league for League of Legends (LoL), will present awards to teams and players who stood out throughout the year. The Player of the Year award will be presented to a single player with the best performance in 2026, alongside Player of the Year awards for each position: Top, Jungle, Mid, Bot, and Support.
Winners of the Regular Season MVP, All-LCK First Team, and Most Player of the Match awards, which were announced following the conclusion of the regular round, will also be recognized. In addition, awards for Head Coach of the Year and Rookie of the Year—a once-in-a-lifetime award—will be presented. Sponsoring companies will directly present special awards.
The venue, CHZZK LoL Park, was the stage where 10 teams competed in 2026. This year's events, from the LCK Cup to the regular season, Play-Ins, and Playoffs, were hosted here. Since its completion in 2018, LoL Park has hosted LCK matches for over eight years, and its name was changed to CHZZK LoL Park after Naver signed a naming rights agreement with the LCK earlier this year.
In December, a photo exhibition will also take place at CHZZK LoL Park. It will be arranged so that teams, players, and fans attending the ceremony can look back on key moments of the 2026 LCK.
The ceremony will be broadcast live on online platforms such as CHZZK and SOOP. Details regarding attending the event in person will be announced later on LCK social media channels.
The LCK officially launched in 2012, and starting in 2025, it runs a single season featuring 10 participating teams from April to September. According to provided data, approximately 4 million people watch the LCK daily, with more than half being international viewers. In the LoL World Championship, which features top teams from six global regions, LCK teams have recorded a total of 10 titles.
Starting in 2025, LoL Esports holds three international tournaments per year. First Stand, featuring the champions of each region's kickoff tournament, takes place in March, followed by the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) in June and July. The LoL World Championship (WORLDS) is held from mid-October to early November.
