On November 5, GAMEPIA CO., LTD. officially released physical editions of the roguelike action game CRYMELIGHT for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in Korea. The game is rated 15+ and supports subtitles in Korean and four other languages.
In combat, players build a five-card hand using playing-card-style skill cards and construct poker-style builds based on card combinations. Players defeat enemies using their "sins" as weapons while experiencing high-speed action triggered through the death cries of their foes.
The story follows "Alice," a young girl who has lost her memories, as she fights to return to her original world. "Alice" joins forces with the mysterious girl "Mary" to participate in a game to defeat the Queen, the ruler of the world.
The setting is an afterlife where girls burdened with their respective sins fight for freedom. The characters unleash their power as they face the sins they committed out of love and their pasts, revealing regret and repentance. Featuring a dark, dreamlike worldview, the game is the latest installment in FURYU's dark bishoujo action series.
Developed by FURYU Corporation., the title is published by Clouded Leopard Entertainment Inc. GAMEPIA released the domestic physical edition in collaboration with Clouded Leopard Entertainment. The sleeve for the Nintendo Switch 2 version is provided in English.
