CFK simultaneously released the digital PlayStation 5 version of the psychological horror adventure game Revenant: In Memory Of The Day, developed by Shinyerak Studio, worldwide on November 5. In the game, players observe repeating corridors as they climb up to the 10th floor, with three different endings depending on their judgments and choices.
From the perspective of a mother searching for her missing child, players determine whether anomalies exist in the corridor and select their path forward. They must spot changes in elements such as notices, lighting, or object placements to advance to the next floor. Selecting the wrong door returns players to the same corridor.
The story is pieced together through newspaper clippings, notes, and graffiti scattered throughout the corridors. Rather than directly explaining the situation, the game is designed for players to collect clues and interpret what happened on the day the child disappeared. The ending varies based on conditions met during gameplay, and the complete narrative is not fully revealed in a single playthrough.
For its horror presentation, the game utilizes alterations to familiar building interiors. Distortions and optical illusions implemented through shaders and scripts are applied to areas featuring floor directories, fire extinguishers, and security office notices. In certain areas, screen-shaking effects and flickering lights occur. Background music is kept to a minimum, building tension instead through footsteps, breathing, and distant whispers.
Revenant: In Memory Of The Day was previously showcased at gamescom asia 2025. This PlayStation 5 version is single-player only and supports Korean, English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.
