In Match 2 of the 2026 LoL World Championship Swiss Stage, held in the early morning of October 24 KST at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas, Hanwha Life Esports comfortably defeated LPL's 3rd seed TES in just 23 minutes.

For Hanwha Life Esports, Zeka's Locke skillfully neutralized the opponent's aggressive play, allowing Kanavi to target the bot lane and eliminate JackeyLove's Ezreal. They then took down 369's K'Sante, while kills were traded in a dragon teamfight. However, during a mid-lane skirmish between Orianna and Locke, Tian's Lee Sin joined effectively to secure kills on both Hanwha Life's Locke and Nocturne, bringing a huge advantage to TES.
Shortly after, TES initiated a fight in front of the Rift Herald to trigger a major teamfight, but Hanwha Life's rotation and skill combos were exceptionally clean. Overpowering the opposition and securing the Herald, Hanwha Life held a lead of approximately 3,000 gold by the 16-minute mark. At the next dragon, TES grew eager for the objective. With Hanwha Life already holding two dragon stacks, securing the dragon was a good play by TES, but in the subsequent battle, Hanwha Life unilaterally scored 4 kills, widening the gap significantly.
That dragon battle expanded the gap between the two teams to 7,000 gold, solidifying Hanwha Life's control early on. Executing a bot lane dive, Zeka's Locke picked up another kill, reaching a scoreline of 10/1/3 by the 19-minute mark. This was only the beginning. Showcasing destructive power, Hanwha Life Esports rapidly pressured TES, secured Baron, and destroyed the Nexus in just 23 minutes to claim victory.
