Smilegate announced that the Knockout Stage of the Epic Seven World Championship 2026 (E7WC 2026) for Epic Seven will begin on October 24. A total of 16 players will compete in this stage, which serves as Round 2 of the main tournament.
The Knockout Stage will take place every weekend at noon for approximately four weeks, from October 24 to November 14. Like the Group Stage, it will feature a double-elimination format to determine the four finalists. The Grand Finals will be held on November 28 at the Lotte Cinema World Tower Super Plex in Jamsil.
The participating roster consists of 14 players who advanced through the Group Stage over the past two weeks and 2 players who earned direct seeds into the Knockout Stage. The seeded players, Hazamarei and MagicQi, earned their spots by placing first and second, respectively, in the newly established online league, Epic Seven Masters 2026.
Epic Seven is a mobile turn-based tactical RPG developed by Super Creative. In E7WC 2026, competitors will battle for the title of global champion through "World Arena," the game's real-time PvP mode.
The preceding Group Stage was held over four days on October 10, 11, 17, and 18. Defending champion XiaoXuenai fell to FN in the winners' bracket but managed to advance to the Knockout Stage by winning the final match. In Group E, Omega pulled off a comeback victory from a tough position by utilizing Salome, a hero capable of cloning enemy heroes.
All matches will be broadcast live in four languages on the official Epic Seven YouTube channel, Chzzk, and global Twitch. Smilegate will host Drops events for viewers on Chzzk and global Twitch while also giving away coupon codes during live streams. In addition, an in-game match prediction event will allow players to earn rewards by forecasting match outcomes.
