Actoz Soft announced on October 21 that it has applied the 'Realm of Taste' update to its action RPG La Tale. The update introduces a new scenario and dungeons, alongside a revamped guild system and Halloween events.
In the update-commemorative Halloween event 'Street of Suspicious Dolls', players can earn rewards by checking attendance, completing missions, and participating in mini-games. Rewards include the '2026 LaDeck Coupon', which allows players to obtain costume items such as the 'Gumiho Costume', 'Grim Reaper Costume', and 'Virgin Ghost Costume'. Players can also acquire items like 'Platinum Hammer', 'Challenge Box', and 'Challenge EXP Drink'.
The new scenario begins with two letters urgently requesting an adventurer. The senders are the wizard 'Jade' from the 'Infinite Corridor' and 'Zelik' from the 'Mongle Mongle' Guild.
The new dungeons introduced are 'Ribbit Pond' and 'Operation Doll Escape'. 'Ribbit Pond' is a place where uninvited guests appear, causing a non-stop chorus of croaking frogs. 'Operation Doll Escape' is set in a mysterious doll shop that opens at midnight, where dolls trying to break free rush at people asking to be taken along. In these new dungeons, players will encounter new boss monsters: 'Vasilisa', princess of the Vine clan, and 'Tariel the Goose Doll', a large, fluffy goose doll holding a cracked watermelon doll.
The guild system has introduced a feature allowing players to select a guild room and customize it to their preferred design. In place of the removed guild crop harvest content, new 'Guild Challenge Missions' have been added, where players complete tasks such as subjugation, escape, and mining.
