Netmarble announced on October 21 that it has launched the Super Boost server 'Nova' for the MMORPG RF ONLINE NEXT. During the event period, up to 10,000 Summon Tickets will be awarded through attendance and mission rewards, while gameplay missions will offer up to 4,000 'Mystic Diamonds' every week.
'Nova' is a server that grants rewards aligned with character growth stages. Upon reaching designated levels, players can receive Legendary-tier Biosuits, Rovers, and weapon skins. Buffs that increase EXP, Credit, and National Contribution gains are also applied, and starting on October 28, five 'Ctrl+Z Coupons' will be provided every month.
The 'Mystic Diamonds' obtained from missions can be used for inventory expansion and purchasing Diamond items in the shop. Except for certain exchange-related functions, they serve the same purpose as standard 'Diamonds'.
Existing content and exchange operations have also changed. 'Mining War' has undergone a complete revamp of its structure, rules, and reward system, with the first war after the overhaul starting on October 24. The exchange system has eliminated individual server exchanges in favor of World Exchange and Integrated Exchange models.
On October 28, the Halloween event dungeon 'Jack-o'-Lantern's Banquet' will open. Players can use the event exchange currency 'Pumpkin Lantern' collected from the dungeon to obtain the new event costume 'Infernal Nightmare' and the Rover skin 'Black Cat'.
Additional content will also be introduced sequentially. A new hunting ground, 'Ushas Swarm Zone 2', will be added to the exoplanet 'Ushas', along with a new World Boss, 'Rusty Junkworm'.
RF ONLINE NEXT is a PC and mobile MMORPG utilizing the IP of RF Online, which launched in 2004 and has been in service for over 20 years. According to Netmarble, after its official launch on March 20, 2025, the game ranked No. 1 in revenue across both major domestic app markets within six days.
