Kakao Games Corp. rolled out the first major update for Dokkaebi's World on October 21. The update adds new PvE content, including the 'Secret Realm of Myriad Ghosts', and opens the new server 'Yuhui' at 8:00 PM the same day.
The 'Secret Realm of Myriad Ghosts' requires Level 50 or higher to enter, allowing players to challenge it solo or in a party of up to four. Players must defeat waves of incoming evil spirits before tackling the final boss. Admission tickets can be obtained from the open field and the 'Battlefield of Falling Flowers'. When entering as a party, only the party leader needs to possess a ticket.
To mark the opening of the new server, all players across all servers will receive 1 million 'Yeopjeon' and 200 'Yohonseok'. Players on the new server 'Yuhui' will be granted additional rewards, including 1 'Heroic Blueprint Selection Box', 2.5 million 'Yeopjeon', 1,000 'Yohonseok', and 400 'Jeonggidan'.
Content for character name bidding and player-versus-player battles has also been introduced. At the 'Nameplate Market', players can bid on desired character names using 'Gold'. The '1v1 Friendly Match' allows players to test their Taoist magic skill combinations against other players or spectate matches.
Additional cosmetic features include a weapon dyeing function and Halloween-themed content. Newly introduced cosmetics feature the 'Virgin Ghost' mount, 'Gumiho' and 'Ghost' costumes, along with exclusive weapon appearances and Taoist magic skins. Kakao Games explained that this update focuses on reinforcing PvE content and expanding the overall gameplay environment.
