The schedule for transferring the Western service of 'Throne and Liberty,' previously handled by Amazon Game Studios (AGS), to NC has been finalized. In an announcement on October 8, AGS revealed that service transition maintenance will begin on November 10 (Pacific Time; November 11 KST). AGS had previously outlined its operational transition plan in August.
Game services will be temporarily suspended during maintenance. Unless players opt out of the data transfer, their characters, items, in-game currency, and progression will automatically move over to NC's service. Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox accounts can continue to be used. Following the transition, players must accept NC's terms and policies and complete any required account activation steps.
Ahead of the transition, access to the Auction House and sales of select paid products will be temporarily suspended starting with maintenance on October 26 (Pacific Time) until the transfer is complete. In Korea Standard Time, this falls on October 27. Sales suspensions apply to Celebration Packs, Character Boosts, and Lucent Packs across the Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation stores, as well as the in-game shop. Items listed on the Auction House will be delivered to the NPC Storage Manager, and uncollected Lucent from completed sales will be credited to the player's balance.
The deadline to opt out of the data transfer specified by AGS is October 30. If a player opts out, their existing characters, progression, and inventory will not transfer to NC, forcing them to start fresh under NC-operated service. However, the announcement did not specify an exact time or timezone for the deadline.
Xbox users will need to install a new 'Throne and Liberty' app published by NC after the transition is complete. Update downloads are planned across all three platforms, including Steam and PlayStation. The exact start time and expected duration of the transition maintenance will be disclosed at a later date.
