Smilegate announced that the Group Stage of Epic Seven World Championship 2026 (hereafter E7WC 2026) for Epic Seven (Epic7) will begin on October 10. A total of 28 players who passed the qualifiers will compete over four days.
Now in its sixth edition this year, the tournament features a total prize pool of $100,000. The winner will receive $50,000, and a special skin for a hero chosen by the winner will be produced and added to the game. The finals are scheduled to take place on November 28 at the Lotte Cinema World Tower Super Plex in Jamsil.
The Group Stage schedule spans October 10 and 11, as well as October 17 and 18. Participating players are divided into groups of four to compete in a double-elimination format. The top two players from each group will advance to the Knockout Stage. Epic Seven Masters 2026 winner Hazamarei and runner-up MagicQi advance directly to the Knockout Stage, where they will compete against the players advancing from the Group Stage for the title of World Champion.
Developed by Super Creative, Epic Seven is a mobile turn-based strategic RPG featuring real-time PvP (player vs. player) content called "World Arena". E7WC 2026 is a tournament to determine the world's best player in this content, featuring players from the "Global," "Europe," "Korea," "Japan," and "Asia" servers.
All matches from the Group Stage to the finals will be broadcast live in four languages on ChZZk and Twitch. Smilegate plans to host Drops events for viewers and reveal coupon codes during live broadcasts. In-game, a match prediction event will be held where players can earn rewards by predicting match results.
With an update on October 8, Epic Seven is also adding "Mei Lin," a collaboration Hero with the IP Chaos Zero Nightmare (hereafter CZN). "Mei Lin" is the third collaboration Hero introduced following "Haru" and "Renoa".
