
Nexon announced on October 8 that four Korean teams will compete in the FC Pro Champions Cup 2026, the premier global tournament for FC Online (EA SPORTS FC Online, hereinafter FC Online). A total of 12 top global teams will participate in the event, competing for a total prize pool of $300,000.
Representing Korea, T1, GEN CITY, DNSoopers, and kt Rolster will challenge for the title. Participating teams were selected based on their performances in professional leagues across Korea, China, Thailand, and Vietnam, as well as results from the previous international tournament, FC Pro Masters, and 'FC Pro Points.' The tournament will take place at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) Showroom in Jung-gu, Seoul, operated by the Seoul Business Agency (SBA), running from October 13 to 18.
The finals on October 18 will be held in front of a live audience. A total of 230 attendees will be selected via a raffle among users who completed advance registration on the official FC Online website. The venue will host various programs, including an Influencer Squad Counseling Center and an FC Online hands-on experience zone.
Matches will kick off with the Group Stage from October 13 to 15. The 12 teams will be divided into two groups of six, with the top four teams from each group advancing to the quarterfinals. A best-of-five single-elimination format will apply to the quarterfinals on October 16 and semifinals on October 17. The finals on October 18 will be played as a best-of-seven match.
The prize breakdown by placement announced by Nexon awards $110,000 to the champions, $55,000 to the runner-up, and $275,000 to third place.
SOOP will manage tournament operations. All matches will be broadcast live on SOOP's official channel, YouTube, and CHZZK, with detailed tournament information available on the official FC Online website.
