Softon is merging the 'Changer' and 'Dacia' worlds of the horror action 2D MMORPG Dark Eden into 'Illyria' on October 7. In conjunction with the world merger, a 4-week growth support event will be held, offering a 3x EXP boost for characters between levels 401 and 600.
The world merger will take place during regular maintenance on October 7. 'Changer' users can access 'Illyria' without applying separately. 'Dacia' users can apply for character transfers on the official website, with guild information transfers also supported to move an existing guild's level, experience, skills, and reputation to a newly created guild in the merged world. Softon organized this merger and event to improve the gaming environment so players from both worlds can play together in a single space while supporting the participation and settlement of new players.
The growth support event exclusive to 'Illyria' will run from October 7 to November 4. Rewards will be distributed based on new character creation and reaching goal levels, and the 3x EXP boost will also apply to existing level 401–600 characters in that world.
During the event period, characters created in 'Illyria' will receive additional runes and growth/enhancement materials upon reaching a total of eight goal thresholds set at 20-level intervals between levels 361 and 501. Blue runes that reduce incoming damage and Green runes that increase damage dealt to monsters or provide an HP steal effect will be granted depending on the goal level. The level 441 reward is 'Ethereal Silver Chain (Bound) +4', and the level 501 reward is 'Iron Wall Core Zap (Bound) +4'.
Upon creating a new character, six support items will be granted, including '10X6 Pack (Bound)', 'Cain's Mount Box (Aerial)', '★5(Epic) Fortune Pig', 'Awakened Hunting Contract', '2-Option Crystal Box', and 'Incense of Iron Wall (Monster)'. From the mount box, players can obtain an aerial mount suitable for their character's race. Usage periods apply to some of the rewards.
Additional daily mission rewards and equipment enhancement events for players across all worlds will also operate from October 7 to November 4. The six items targeted for increased enhancement success rates are '10th Anniversary Core Zap', 'Dark Onyx Core Zap', 'Iron Wall Core Zap', 'Ethereal Silver Chain', 'Battlefield Ethereal Chain', and 'Cue of Battle Sword'.
From October 28 to November 3, a Halloween login reward event will take place across all worlds. Players logging in during this period will receive rewards such as 'Boost Liquid', 'Growth Accelerator of White Light', and 'Spooky Ghost Box'.
Details on how to participate in the event, reward distribution conditions, duration of use, and character/guild transfer procedures are available on the official Dark Eden website.
