Kakao Games Corp. began PC and mobile pre-downloads for its new 2.5D MMORPG World of Dokkaebi at 11:00 a.m. on October 6. The official launch is scheduled for October 8 at 11:00 a.m.
Pre-downloads for World of Dokkaebi, currently under development by Supercat, will run until the official launch. PC users can install Google Play Games from the official website and download the official launcher through the application. The mobile version is available for download on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Along with the pre-downloads, Kakao Games opened the official website. On the website, players can check key information about the game, features of its core 'Dosul' system, and gameplay videos showing actual in-game footage.
World of Dokkaebi is an MMORPG in development based on the IP of the Naver web novel and webtoon The Tale of Cultivation and Demon Extermination. It applies a hybrid visual style combining 2D pixel-art characters with 3D backgrounds, constructing its worldview with pixel art that reflects traditional Korean sentiments.
