EPID Games is holding the Trickcal Revive concert, 'Elias Talent Show', at Peace Hall, Kyung Hee University on October 3 and 4.
Ever since its initial reveal, Trickcal caught attention with its cute character designs featuring squishy cheeks, but it went through numerous twists and turns before its 'Revive' on September 27, 2023. CEO Han Jeong-hyun went all-in with a bold investment—putting his house deed on the line—to add full voice acting, while building internal stability even as the studio drew attention with self-deprecating humor. Now wrapping up its Season 3 storyline, the game has established a unique presence both domestically and globally.
Above all, Trickcal's signature atmosphere—fitting for the term 'talent show'—played a big part. The chaotic daily lives and extraordinary mishaps stemming from the innocence of chubby-cheeked, short, and adorable characters gave it a distinct personality rarely seen in subculture games. Players could laugh at the accidents born from that innocence, yet feel emotionally immersed in a story that weaves serious plotlines behind the comedy, ultimately bringing a smile to everyone.
Celebrating those three years, the Elias Talent Show was an orchestra concert that truly embodied 'Trickcalism'. It featured unconventional moments from the opening—where a fainted conductor rolled out on a bed woke up instantly after having his cheek pinched—to a performance by vocalist NC.A, a WWE-style ambush performance for the 100th-day song with voice actor Son Jeong-min dressed as Epika, character PV recitations followed by theme song performances by voice actor Chae Rim (Eid) and voice actor Bang Yeon-ji (Shuro and Uros), and an encore by Youngchun declaring, "This drill instructor is disappointed in the Master," complete with a teaser for Sparrot's return. Furthermore, in Part 2, CEO Han Jeong-hyun made a surprise appearance on clarinet to perform the song previously featured during the 1.5-anniversary showcase, drawing enthusiastic applause from the audience.
Here are photos capturing various moments from the first orchestra concert, 'Elias Talent Show', for Trickcal Revive, a game that makes headlines with unconventional ideas at every event.
