Nexon opened a beta test server for Sudden Attack on the 1st, allowing players to experience a 16:9 aspect ratio and resolutions up to 2560 x 1440. The server will run daily from 3:00 PM to midnight until the 7th.
This test provides a wider display environment compared to the existing 4:3 aspect ratio with a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. A 'View Distance' setting tailored to display environments was also added so players can adjust the scope of space shown on screen. Players can participate without a separate application, and Nexon plans to collect player feedback before sequentially applying the features to the live server.
Players who log in to the beta server will receive '100,000 EXP' and '5 Pass Tickets' on their live server account during regular maintenance on the 8th. In the 'Cross Challenge Event,' completing challenge quests in Team Deathmatch, Quick Match, Ranked Match, and Survival Mode allows players to receive the same rewards on both the beta server and live server. Achieving 15 reward chances through stage missions in the 'Cross Burning Event' grants the 'Permanent AWP(IS) Medal', '500 SP', and '200,000 EXP'. A survey and bug report event will run until regular maintenance on the 8th.
On the live server, the 'October PC Bang Pass' will run through the 29th. Players can collect 'PC Bang Pass Tickets' through daily missions to level up and earn rewards for each stage, with mission rewards doubled on weekends and public holidays. For 'Sudden Pass' holders, an additional 'PC Bang Boost Track' will be unlocked. Reaching the maximum level of 30 awards items such as the 'PC Bang Unique SP Special Box' and fully activates set effects for MyGun2 'Evil' and 'Rumble' weapons.
Autumn events will also take place. The 'Shining Autumn Showtime,' running daily from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM through the 7th, will distribute gifts seven times a day to logged-in players. Until the 15th, players can participate in 'Ice Breaker,' where they break ice blocks using hammers earned through missions or SP consumption, and the 'Gentle Autumn Breeze PC Bang Event,' where daily missions can be completed solo or with friends.
'KISS OF LIFE Characters' modeled after the group KISS OF LIFE will also be introduced. Activating the character for the first time by collecting 7 or more days of it until the 15th grants '1 Permanent Sealing Item', '2 Character Free Tickets', and 5 text titles. Accumulating 300 days of character ownership awards a '2026 KISS OF LIFE Permanent Selection Coupon', and for every additional 300 days accumulated thereafter, players can choose between that selection coupon or a 'Prime Trench Character'. Every time the additional accumulated period reaches 600 days, an '[S]KISS OF LIFE Selection Coupon' is provided, and 20 players who obtain this item will be selected via raffle to receive a signed mousepad and signed polaroid set. Two entry tickets are also granted each time a character set is acquired.
The qualifiers for the official esports tournament '2026 Sudden Attack Championship Season 2' will take place on the 3rd at 12:00 PM. The matches will be broadcast live simultaneously on Sudden Attack's official SOOP channel and YouTube channel, with participating teams competing for 7 spots in the main tournament, excluding defending champion FINF, who secured an automatic seed.
