NCSOFT's Lineage W rolled out an update on Wednesday, September 23. In this week's update, the Mana Striker class received a renewal, featuring new spells and gear alongside improvements to existing spells and equipment.
The Mana Striker class has been renewed. First, three new spells were added. 'Undead Blast' is a spell with a chance upon attack to turn the target and nearby enemies into undead, inflicting the 'Undead Mark' debuff. 'Frozen Recovery: Odium' and 'Frozen Recovery' are spells that increase max HP and defensive stats, while giving a chance to restore HP when attacking targets or defeating monsters.
Additionally, eight existing spells were improved. 'Death Field' reduces the cooldowns of major spells upon defeating a target, ignores physical defense and counters, and enhances Darkness Hit effects. 'Frozen Field' gains additional effects such as reducing enemy movement speed within the area and lowering resistance to Darkness, Stop, and Stun. 'Redemption' has been reworked to taunt a single designated target and reflect magic damage proportional to accumulated damage taken.
Two new pieces of gear were added, and five existing pieces were improved. Alongside the Legendary 'Armguard of the Dead', the newly added Mythic item 'Armguard of the Polar Night' grants Stun/Darkness Hit options, Slow Resistance, and Max HP Increase. It also comes with 'Mystic Protection', which triggers Damage Reduction at a 3% chance.
Some existing gear received new Magic Damage and Darkness Hit options, while certain items had some of their existing stats buffed by roughly 50% without additional separate options.
