The quarterfinal matches of the 2016 WCS Global Finals were played today. Elazer, Dark, ByuN, and Stats advanced to the semifinals by defeating ShoWTimE, Neeblet, TY, and Zest respectively. The most noteworthy match of the day was Zest vs Stats - the only series that went all the way to Game 5 - in which Stats managed to edge out a thrilling victory over his former teammate.

The semifinals and finals will be played tomorrow starting from 12:30 PDT.
