Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation (KOMSCO) will release limited quantities of commemorative gold and silver medals, bullion medals, and intaglio prints on September 14 to mark the 30th anniversary of Diablo.
The product lineup consists of 500 gold medals, 2,500 silver medals, 10,000 bullion medals, and 500 copies each of color and black-and-white intaglio prints featuring 30th-anniversary key art.
The product information has temporarily been taken down from KOMSCO's official website. However, according to the product page published immediately after the announcement, the gold medal, silver medal, and bullion medal (silver) are all crafted with 99.9% purity. Prices are set at 4,795,000 won for the gold medal, 333,300 won for the silver medal, and 165,000 won for the bullion medal. The intaglio prints are priced at 110,000 won regardless of color option.
The items are expected to carry high rarity as limited-edition merchandise celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Diablo series. In particular, given their high purity, the commemorative medals are expected to draw strong interest not only from Diablo fans but also from collectors of related memorabilia.
Although the product page is currently down, it is expected to be re-opened in time for the official sales launch on September 14, when the limited quantities go on sale.
