Nexon's Overwatch Day, held at BEXCO in Busan, has come to a close. Just like Day 1, which saw 5,000 pre-registered attendees and even more gathering for on-site registration, a huge crowd visited BEXCO on Sunday, the final day.
Day 2 also featured the same seven on-site experience programs as the first day, along with a stamp tour and merchandise zone. A variety of events took place on stage as well. First, the Overwatch development team personally shared their perspectives on Korean players under the theme of the importance of the Korean market. Three art heads also showcased impressive work through a live drawing show.
Announcements from Blizzard and Nexon regarding Overwatch esports followed. It was a session to discuss the global Overwatch competitive scene and the future of Korea's grassroots Overwatch leagues. In addition, fans could listen to live performances from Overwatch's Korean voice actors today. Voice actors Kim Hyun-ji (D.Va), Yun Eun-seo (Juno), and Jeong Ui-jin (Wuyang) took the stage to spend a fun time with the audience. A fan signing session was also held on a first-come, first-served basis for 50 people.
Here is a look at the final day of Busan's 'Overwatch Day', brought together by Nexon, Blizzard, and Overwatch fans.
