"Overwatch Day," an offline event for domestic Overwatch players, kicked off at 11:00 AM on August 22 at BEXCO in Busan. A variety of stage programs and hands-on events, including developer talks, creator showmatches, a cosplay contest, voice actor fan meetings, and OWWC South Korea team sessions, will run over the course of two days.
Nexon is hosting the Overwatch player event "Overwatch Day" for two days from August 22 to 23 at BEXCO Exhibition Center 1, Hall 1 in Haeundae-gu, Busan. The event runs offline every day from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and anyone can attend free of charge. No official online livestream is provided.
"Overwatch Day" is a fan event designed to allow Overwatch players to meet the game's developers, art team, creators, and voice cast in person while enjoying various stage programs and interactive content.
The venue is themed around key areas of Overwatch's Busan map, featuring the MEKA Base, Sanctuary, Downtown Busan, and Busan Station Tower. Visitors can become MEKA squad heroes and carry out missions such as shooting, maintenance, and search, and can exchange stamps earned by participating in programs for merchandise.
On August 22, the first day of the event, starting with the "Hero Welcome Ceremony" and opening remarks, "Dev TALK" and "Art Team TALK" will take place to introduce the production process of Season 4 and future visions. In the afternoon, the "Creator Match," "Cosplay Contest," and "Lucky Draw" featuring creators will follow. For the talk sessions on this day, Walter Kong, Senior Vice President and Head of Development for Live Games/Mobile, Ben Bell, Senior Vice President and Executive Producer of Overwatch, and Game Director Aaron Keller take the stage, while "Runner" and "ryujehong" face off once again as team captains in the Creator Match.

On August 23, programs such as a "Dev TALK" themed on the Korean market and esports, an "Art Team Live Drawing Show," an "OWWC Korea Team Broadcast," and a "Voice Actor Fan Meeting" will be held. At the end of the event, Blizzard's esports-related announcement and an OWWC send-off ceremony will take place.
In addition to the main stage programs, the venue operates seven types of hands-on on-site experience programs for players to participate in. Autograph sessions and guerrilla events featuring developers, art heads, voice actors, and OWWC national team players will also take place, alongside MD and F&B zones.
The event also draws attention for coinciding with Overwatch's new season and the expansion of its domestic service. Overwatch launched its domestic PC service through Nexon on August 12 and introduced Season 4, "Heroes of Busan," on the same day. In addition, new Tank hero "D.Mon," a member of the MEKA squad that defends Busan, has officially joined the roster.
Furthermore, the OWWC 2026 Group Stage is currently taking place in Busan. The match schedule runs from August 20 to 23, and on the second day of "Overwatch Day," a live broadcast of the South Korea team's match will be held in conjunction with the national team's send-off ceremony.
