Webzen (CEO Kim Tae-young) is hosting a character name pre-reservation event ahead of the upcoming server reset for the Original Reboot Server in its PC MMORPG 'R2 (Reign of Revolution)'.

The Original Reboot Server is a server that resets periodically but allows players to level up characters faster than on regular servers. Players can participate in the character name pre-reservation event by logging into their R2 account by midnight on Monday, August 24, and applying yields various rewards that can be used on the Original Reboot Server.

First, for players making a fresh start, a 'Character Appearance Change Certificate' that allows changing a character's gender and appearance will be sent to their R2 Inventory. Additionally, players will be given an opportunity to claim a time-limited 'Trainee Girl Transformation Necklace' and 'Battle Draco Ring' for free once per account, alongside various support items such as the 'Alchemist Transformation Skill Book'—which enables Hardcore Transformation—and the 'Book of the Sage'.

Benefits to assist fast growth after the Original Server reset have also been prepared. The required EXP for character level-ups at Level 80 and above and guild level-ups will be significantly reduced, and various perks supporting character progression will be offered at each leveling stage from Level 90 to 140. Furthermore, during four rounds of the 'Mission Completion Event' and 'Level-Up Race' taking place throughout the server's duration, players can obtain high-tier equipment such as the 'Enraged Iprit's Treasure Chest' and 'Grihentel's Sun Accessory Set'.
