T1's 'Hoseok' (Choi Ho-seok) defeated Dplus KIA's 'Kwak' (Kwak Jun-hyouk) in the first match of the '2026 FSL Summer' Final Stage, held at the Jamsil DN Colosseum on the 17th. Hoseok took control from the first set and maintained his momentum, ultimately fending off a fierce comeback attempt by Kwak in the third set to secure a 3-0 victory.

In the first set, 'Kwak' committed a foul inside the box just eight minutes into the first half, and 'Hoseok' capitalized on the PK opportunity to score the opening goal. Having seized the momentum, 'Hoseok' controlled the pace of the game. In the second half, a sharp pass from Cristiano Ronaldo set up Marcos Llorente for a second goal at the near post. With a clincher in stoppage time, 'Hoseok' secured a decisive victory.

The first goal of the second set went to 'Kwak,' who found the back of the net with a deep pass that completely bypassed 'Hoseok's' defense. 'Hoseok' responded with an equalizer, using Zinedine Zidane’s brilliant individual skill to weave past the opposing defense. In the ensuing second half, 'Hoseok' took the lead; a dribble by Zinedine Zidane created space for Cristiano Ronaldo, who converted the chance into a goal.

Leading 2-1, 'Hoseok' showed no signs of slowing down, quickly netting a third goal. For 'Kwak,' things went from bad to worse as a failure to convert a crucial chance broke their momentum. 'Hoseok' then piled on two more goals to take the second set with a commanding 5-1 win.

In the third set, 'Hoseok' struck first with a laser shot from Marcos Llorente and quickly added a second to pull ahead. This time, 'Kwak' managed to pull one back just before the end of the first half. 'Hoseok' extended the lead to 3-1 in the second half with a left-footed strike from Zinedine Zidane, but 'Kwak' mounted a fierce comeback to level the score at 3-3.

Now on the defensive, 'Hoseok' breathed a sigh of relief after successfully thwarting 'Kwak's' attack with persistent defense. A long pass from the defensive line found Blaise Matuidi, who fed the ball to an infiltrating Cristiano Ronaldo for the clinching goal. With that, 'Hoseok' took the third set 4-3.
