BLG has secured its spot at Worlds while leading the LPL Split 3 standings.

During this week's 2026 LPL Split 3 matches at the Suzhou Yangcheng International Esports Center, BLG fell to JDG on the 12nd but bounced back to defeat TT 2-0 on the 13rd, clinching an early ticket to Worlds. The team has since regained momentum with a 2-0 victory over WE on the 15th.

As a powerhouse representing the LPL, BLG has frequently faced top LCK teams on the international stage in recent years, often trading blows in closely contested matches. Meanwhile, BLG is currently working to fill the void left by 'Bin' with the acquisition of 'Flandre.' After a six-match winning streak in Split 3, BLG hit a brief slump with losses to TES and JDG, but they have since defeated TT and WE in succession to tie with AL for the lead at 9-2.

As of August 16, the only three teams to have officially qualified for Worlds are BLG from the LPL, Hanwha Life from the LCK, and Team Secret Wales from the APAC region.
