ESTsoft has surpassed ₩60 billion in first-half revenue, marking an all-time high while simultaneously cutting its operating loss by more than half.
AI service specialist ESTsoft (47,560, CEO Jung Sang-won) announced that its cumulative revenue for the first half of 2026 reached ₩60.7 billion on a K-IFRS consolidated basis, a 7.6% increase compared to the same period last year. During the same period, operating losses decreased by 53.3%, marking a significant improvement.
Growth in the first half was driven by the AI/SW, gaming, and asset management divisions. The AI/SW business grew 18.3% to ₩30.3 billion, led by the AI avatar-based generative service Persona AI, the AX business, and AI-powered education initiatives. The gaming business recorded ₩16.4 billion, a 2.9% increase largely attributed to the launch of the new title 'CABAL RED,' while the asset management business grew 7% to ₩9 billion.
The improvement in operating loss resulted from a combination of cost restructuring and one-off factors. Despite an increase in revenue-linked commissions and marketing expenses, the company reduced its operating loss by ₩2.3 billion year-on-year through fixed-cost savings—such as workforce optimization and reduced stock-based compensation—alongside gains from the disposal of derivatives.
In the second quarter alone, consolidated revenue saw a slight year-on-year decline, but net loss narrowed by 22.1% to ₩1.3 billion, continuing the trend of improved profitability.
ESTsoft expects revenue growth to continue in the second half, driven by synergies with national AI projects in AX and talent development, the expansion of its AI avatar solution 'Persona Interactive' into domestic and international retail and mobility sectors, and the launch of 'ALYac Agentic EDR' in the increasingly critical AI security market. Furthermore, the company plans to maintain the rigorous cost-efficiency measures that proved successful in the first half to continuously improve operating profit at the Group level.
