NC (co-CEOs Kim Taek-jin and Park Byung-moo) has released the 'Titan Heart' update for its MMORPG Lineage W, featuring a full renewal of the 'Warrior' class, the introduction of a 7-grade 'Colosseum' battle system, and large-scale restoration rewards.

With this update, Lineage W has significantly boosted the Warrior class' inherent survivability, attack power, and debuff capabilities. Warrior players can now utilize new spells such as 'Second Wind: Rising,' which reduces enemy defense, its passive counterpart 'Second Wind: Rising (Passive),' and 'Titan Heart,' which removes health limits to explosively increase combat performance. To celebrate the renewal, a 'Class Change' event is available, allowing players to switch to any class except 'Master' by paying the in-game currency, 'Adena.' Additionally, the 'Titan's Blessing' season pass has been introduced; players can use the 'Titan's Core' obtained through the pass to craft 'Titan's Protection,' a buff effect available until the maintenance on September 9.

Content has also been expanded across three key areas. First, the high-difficulty Master Dungeon, 'Tower of Domination: Hypocrisy,' has opened. Players can enter this area using a 'Fantasy Tower of Insolence Domination Amulet' or a 'Tower of Domination Entry Ticket.' By destroying the 'Eye of Stigma' inside, players can choose to accept debuffs in exchange for the opportunity to summon waves of monsters and earn massive amounts of EXP and loot. The second chapter of the narrative content, 'The Returned Red Lion,' covers events six years after the first chapter and spans the equivalent of two volumes of the original comic. Seven episodes unfold from the perspectives of 'Dethroju' and 'Ken Rauhel,' and new skins based on the original work, such as 'Jowoo's Friend Rock' and 'Moonlight Owen,' are now available.

The 'Colosseum' arena content will introduce a '4 vs 4 Team Battle Mode' starting August 19, where eight players clash. Players earn points based on match results to climb a 7-grade ranking system, ranging from the lowest 'Bronze' to the highest 'Grand Master,' with special benefits awarded upon reaching each grade for the first time. All players will receive 'TJ Coupons' from the regular maintenance on August 19 until the regular maintenance on September 9, which can be used to restore destroyed 'Paid Equipment,' 'Runes,' 'Spell Cards,' 'Transformations,' and 'Magic Dolls'.
