Narrative game developer and publisher Telltale has announced that it will host the first-ever Choices Matter Festival on Steam.
The event kicks off on Monday, August 10, at 10:00 AM PT. Special content will run until 5:30 PM PT that same day and will be rebroadcast until August 13, while discounts will remain available through August 17.
The Choices Matter Festival highlights games across various genres that feature branching storylines and impactful decision-making. During the event, over 90 titles will be available at a discount, alongside more than 40 playable demos, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, developer commentary, exclusive reveals, and two world premieres.
The festival also features exclusive interactive elements. Users can participate in a choice-based adventure quiz to discover participating games that match their preferences. Additionally, a bundle of six free items will be available in the Steam Points Shop exclusively during the event.
"Story and choices are the hallmark of Telltale games and something we care about deeply, so it's an honor to be hosting this new Steam event that celebrates titles with both at their core," said Jamie Ottilie, CEO of Telltale. "We're certain this festival will grow into an essential event that the fans of the best of these games can look forward to every year."
The Choices Matter Festival, running on Steam from August 10 to 17, begins with an exclusive talk on The Wolf Among Us Remastered at 10:00 AM PT. The full schedule and list of participating titles will be posted on the festival's Steam page at that time. Further information is available on Telltale's social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X.
