SEGA Publishing Korea (CEO Saito Go) announced the release of 'ONSOKU WO KOETE,' the Japanese version of the Sonic 35th anniversary commemorative song 'Speed Is My Life' (composed by Jun Senoue, lyrics by Tee Lopes).
The track was arranged by Yunosuke, a sound producer and composer known for his forward-thinking sound design, and features vocals by the virtual singer Hatsune Miku. It has also been added to the in-game jukebox of 'Sonic Racing Crossworld,' which is currently available, allowing players to enjoy it as background music during races.
Additionally, 'Forever Fast - 35th Anniversary of Sonic The Hedgehog,' a commemorative album featuring 19 vocal theme songs from the series' history, is now available on major streaming and download platforms, alongside a physical CD release.
The original 35th-anniversary song, 'Speed Is My Life,' was composed by Sonic series sound director Jun Senoue, with lyrics by Tee Lopes and vocals by NateWantsToBattle. A Chinese version, 'Here We Go ~ Run to the Future,' was produced by and features vocals from virtual artist Yousa Ling.
The in-game event 'Hatsune Miku 2nd Festa' is also returning. Players can collect Festa Points during the event period to earn special in-game items. Further details regarding the event schedule and rewards will be announced at a later date.
