Netmarble announced on the 26th that it has released the 'Summer Festival' update for its character-collecting AFK mobile RPG, 'The King of Fighters AFK.'

The update introduces the new Legend Seasonal Fighter, 'Kula Diamond (Aqua Splash).' This fighter features a summer-themed design and possesses the [Execution] synergy. Players can obtain this fighter through the Summer Festival special pickup event, which runs until July 8. A pickup event for other [Execution] synergy fighters will also be held during the same period.

The main event of the Summer Festival, 'Aqua Splash,' will take place from July 2 to July 15. During the event, users can enjoy summer-themed content, including the 'Midnight Party' Dungeon, the 'Sunshine Groove' Dungeon, and a 'Find Kula' mini-game. Players can also obtain the Legend Pets 'Slush' and 'Bumpy' through these events.

A check-in event is also underway. The 'Cool Summer Attendance' event offers rewards such as Origin and DNA Selection Chests. Additionally, the 'Lucky Elpy' event, running from June 29 to July 3, will feature the Legend Supporter 'Sho Hayate.'

'The King of Fighters AFK' is a character-collecting AFK mobile RPG based on the SNK fighting game IP. Users can build decks of 5 to 25 characters to engage in battle. The game highlights a visual style that blends retro graphics with modern artwork, alongside various growth and competitive content.
