Webzen has released a new update for its MMORPG 'R2 ORIGIN (Reign of Revolution ORIGIN)' featuring the new 'Baalbek' transformation.

Baalbek is the second Ancient Grade transformation to be introduced, following Jupiter, and represents the highest tier of transformation available in R2 ORIGIN. Four variations have been added—one for each class—and like Jupiter, they can only be obtained through Fusion.

The update also unveils 'Citadel of the Sky,' a new Chaos Dungeon where players from all servers can compete. More powerful boss monsters appear in this dungeon, and defeating them offers a chance to obtain new Legend-grade equipment, skillbooks, and various crafting materials.

Additionally, a new 'Equipment Set Effect' system has been added. Equipping a certain number of items from a set now grants bonus stats, expanding the strategic options for gear customization. Other improvements include enhanced convenience for Spot Battles and a UI update that makes status effect information easier to track.

Two new events have been launched to celebrate the update. Starting on the 25th, the top 10 players with the most monster kills in the 'Citadel of the Sky' dungeon will receive tiered rewards, including Bound Shining Engraving Stones and Flames of the Soul.

An 'Event Transformation Pass' will also run until the 9th of next month, allowing players to activate an attendance sheet using gold to claim daily login rewards. Depending on the number of cumulative login days, players can receive up to 125 transformation cards, ranging from Standard to Heroic Adventure grades.
