Game Research announced the launch schedule for 'Blood Wind,' a traditional martial arts PC MMORPG developed by Super Jeans, with pre-registration beginning on the 23rd.
Scheduled for official release on July 14, Blood Wind is the successor to 'Titan Online'—which evolved from the 2004 title 'Mookhyang Online'—and is the direct predecessor to 'Mookhon Online,' which currently carries on that lineage. Unlike Mookhon, which evolved in a more casual direction, Blood Wind emphasizes the charm of a traditional martial arts worldview centered on the conflict between the Orthodox and Unorthodox factions.
The service aims to evoke nostalgia for players who enjoyed the original Blood Wind while introducing new players to the appeal of a grounded martial arts setting. While maintaining the core content and growth structure of the original, the game features improved quality-of-life functions, new systems, and additional content to deliver a more polished classic martial arts MMORPG experience.
Anyone can participate in pre-registration via the dedicated page. Users who complete pre-registration will receive a gift code upon launch containing a pet that provides bonus stats and inventory space, buff consumables, and equipment enhancement materials.
Accounts that use the code will also be entered into a prize event, with rewards including one don (3.75g) of pure gold, department store gift certificates, and cultural gift vouchers based on the level achieved within a set period. Users who share the pre-registration news on social media and provide proof will receive additional in-game items and a separate chance to win cultural gift vouchers.
Various events are also planned for after the launch. All first-time players will receive a variety of items, including a pet, a weapon costume, and a title, with additional support items available based on growth progress. Furthermore, promotions featuring discounts and bundles for paid items will be available during the early launch period.
A Game Research representative stated that Blood Wind was prepared to allow players to enjoy the sentiment of a traditional martial arts MMORPG with modern convenience, adding that they hope both returning players who remember the original and new users alike will experience the deep fun of the martial arts world.
Information on pre-registration and launch events can be found on the pre-registration page, and further details regarding the game and specific events will be released sequentially through the upcoming official website.
