Kuro Games has announced that it will host the 'Wuthering Waves Festival,' its largest-ever offline event, to celebrate the second anniversary of its open-world ARPG, Wuthering Waves. The event will be held at Hall 9 of KINTEX Exhibition Center II in Ilsan for three days, from the 29th to the 31st, and will be approximately twice the size of last year's event.
Themed around a graduation ceremony, this second-anniversary event is designed to look back on the moments shared with 'Rovers' (users) over the past two years and express gratitude. The venue will feature a wide array of content for Rovers, including large-scale exhibitions, performances, interactive programs, and limited-edition merchandise.
Stage programs will feature a variety of rotating events, starting with a graduation album screening and opening ceremony, followed by cosplay showcases, special dance performances, drawing shows, and voice actor talk shows. The festival atmosphere will be further enhanced by signature Wuthering Waves activities, such as mascot character appearances, a user cosplay parade, live OST stages, and a graduation celebration finale.
Interactive content will be available throughout the venue, allowing attendees to experience the world of Wuthering Waves firsthand. Highlights include the 'Star Torch Arcade Zone,' featuring six different mini-games, and exhibition events showcasing past memories, such as a giant 'Bird Egg Cake' air balloon. Additionally, a fan-created content zone will serve as a hub for fan culture, where users can browse and purchase merchandise reflecting their unique creativity.
Official limited-edition merchandise will also be released for Rovers. Specially produced items, including acrylic keychains, stands, pin buttons, and desk mats, will be available for purchase at the on-site merchandise shop.
A representative from Kuro Games stated that the event was prepared based on the trust built with Rovers over the past two years, adding that the graduation theme will provide a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the journey taken together.
Event tickets will be available exclusively through Ticketlink starting today (the 8th) at 8:00 PM. Detailed information about the 'Mingjo Festival' can be found on the official community site and the Ticketlink reservation page.
