An in-depth guide to Sizuka: A Master specialized in assassination and harassment

Sizuka, the Circuit Breaker, is an Helix-type assassin in MXM. Her weapon is Blood and Oil, a blade which she uses to attack enemies in close range. She has high weapon attack damage, and can deal additional damage with stealth or bleeding.

Once in combat, she can instantly dash into enemies and stun them, which can easily lead to scoring kills, so she tends to be targeted by enemies. It is best to play her by flanking.

She has higher movement speed compared to other Masters, and uses her weapon attacks more than her skills. She delivers high damage with critical hits, although she has to be cautious when moving closer to enemies due to her low survivability.

▲ Sizuka has a skill set specialized in ambush and finishing off Masters.

▣ Just need 30 seconds before the battle starts! Recommended Master options

◆ Recommended Augments

Since Sizuka deals high damage with critical hits, it is best to use Critical Hit.

Recommended Skill Combination

By using Cloak, you can position yourself for ambush, and by using Snap Strike, you can dash into the enemies and stun them. This skill combo is great for both initiating a fight or finishing off an enemy.

This skill combo can slow your enemies and deal massive damage to them with increased weapon damage. This skill combo is good for harassing enemy Masters near you or for keeping them from escaping.

◆ Node Compatibility

Sizuka’s Node Compatibility leans mostly towards damage inflicting with 4 Offensive Nodes. Her regular attacks deal much more damage than he skills, so she needs Weapon Damage Nodes. Also, I recommend Node settings with high Critical Hit Chance as she is a Master that deals much more damage with critical hits.

◆ Recommended Spell

Since Sizuka tends to spend time moving in wide areas while going after enemy Masters, Sprint is a great choice. It will be quite helpful when moving to the best spot for flanking quickly.

◆ Traits Priority

Weapon Damage is important, but Sizuka’s attacks are more focused on burst damage than a sustained damaged. So in order to do more burst damage, I recommend investing your Trait points in Critical Strike Chance. Use your remaining Trait points either on Weapon Damage or Penetration.

▣ Skills for assassination by flanking and keeping your enemies at bay! Sizuka’s Skill Set

Snap Strike is a skill that makes Sizuka dash to a target and strike. It can be used to dash closer to the enemies so that Sizuka, who is best adept at short-ranged attacks, can attack the enemies with more ease. Using this skill will give you a stack of bleeding, and gives a higher chance of stunning your enemy if used while flanking. In order to use this skill efficiently, always look for chances to flank rather than attacking from the front.

Caltrops is a skill that slows and bleeds the enemy with caltrops thrown in a radial shape. Throw caltrops in order to hit enemies that are running towards or away from you. You can deal more damage by building stacks of bleeding. If you upgrade the skill to level 6, the number of caltrops you throw will increase to 9, allowing you to very easily harass enemies.

▲ Use Snap Strike to head towards enemies and continue to attack.

Cloak is a stealth skill that makes you invisible to your enemies for 4 seconds. Depending on the situation, you can use this skill to flank them or disappear from their sight in order to escape. However, stealth will disappear once you use your skills or attack, giving you a 10% decrease in movement speed. It is better to use Sprint or use other movement skills together in a combo.

Rending Blades is a skill that allows you to deal burst damage with a 40% increase in weapon attack damage and bleeding effect. It is a skill that allows you to use Vicious, a passive skill, more efficiently, so use this skill in team fights or in a skirmish to overwhelm your enemies.

▲ For an efficient ambush, use Cloak to enter stealth and flank your enemies from behind.

There are 2 effects of Vicious: Adrenaline, which resets Sizuka’s skill cooldowns when she kills a Master, letting her use her skills in a row, and Bleed Them Dry, which lets Sizuka stack bleeding up to 5 times, with each stack increasing the overall damage. This passive skill helps Sizuka finish off enemy Masters who are leaving the front line of a battle.

Swift Step is an evasive skill that lets Sizuka instantly dash in the direction of your cursor, immune to all attacks. Since its range isn’t that long, use this skill to make yourself immune if you have been targeted with a wide AoE skill.

When A Thousand Cuts is activated, Sizuka dashes in and out of sight to slash enemies within range. When the skill ends, Sizuka returns to the spot this skill was activated, and it can be used to attack a single enemy several times. Its AoE is not big, so you have to move closer to your target to use it. Use either Cloak or Snap Strike to move closer to them, then use A Thousand Cuts to slash them.

▲ A Thousand Cuts can deal damage to single target several times, so it is perfect for finishing your enemy off.

▣ Don’t stay in one place! Roam around the dark spots of the battleground! How to effectively play Sizuka

As a damage dealer and an assassin, Sizuka should be able to move around the battleground without limiting herself to a certain route. Ambush your enemies by hiding in via brush and other objects, or finish off Masters with low HP by sneaking behind their backs.

Since Sizuka has high weapon damage, she can farm by killing monsters in the jungle when there aren’t any battles going on. Sizuka’s damage output is considered one of the best, but since she has low survivability, you should refrain from fighting unless you can hit and run. However, if there’s any Master with low HP, use Sizuka’s mobility to finish them off.

Once the team fight begins and you have a chance to move out of your enemies’ sight, use Cloak to move. Since Cloak has a short stealth time, do not hesitate. If your enemy is within Snap Strike’s range, dash forward to slay them. If you manage to flank them from behind, their chance of getting stunned is very high, so try another weapon attack if you can.

▲ Any Masters with their backs to Sizuka will be reaped.

If the situation isn’t favorable for Sizuka to approach the enemies, play the other Master via the Tag system and change back to Sizuka to kill the enemies with low HP after a fight ends. She can also approach enemies recalling to their base, or chase them with high agility.

When you are using Caltrops and Rending Blades, it is important to use Caltrops to limit your enemy routes. Throw caltrops in the way of an escaping enemy or an approaching enemy, although it is best to use it against moving enemies since they can also see the caltrops. Once your enemy is slowed, use Rending Blades right away for a proper Vicious effect.

▲ Sizuka gains invincibility once A Thousand Cuts is activated, allowing her to ignore enemy attacks and burst damage.
