Global game company Gravity announced on the 30th that it will host the 'Prontera Square Invitation,' an event for users of its flagship PC MMORPG, 'Ragnarok Online.'

The event will take place on May 2 at Onmam Theater in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Gravity organized the event to express gratitude and create lasting memories for users who have shown consistent love and interest in Ragnarok Online, which celebrates its 24th year of commercial service in Korea this year. Given that May is 'Family Month,' the company has also prepared various activities for users to enjoy with their families.

The event will be divided into two parts, featuring a welcome address, the unveiling of the 2026 vision and roadmap for Ragnarok Online, an introduction to new titles in the Ragnarok IP, and a Q&A session. Key staff, including the general development PD, creative director, planning team, and business PM for Ragnarok Online, will be in attendance to engage with users. A total of 80 people, including selected applicants and their family members, will participate in the event.

The application period, which lasted about a week, saw a turnout several times higher than the available spots, reflecting intense interest in the event. For those unable to attend in person, Gravity plans to host a live broadcast on its official YouTube channel, featuring the company's official virtual YouTuber, Pring Cotton.

During the event, a prize giveaway will be held, where special gifts will be awarded to users based on random drawings of their shared memories of Ragnarok Online. Attendees can also enjoy various activities such as a Ragnarok quiz, photo zones, and instant photo booths; those who upload proof shots to their social media will receive free in-game cash and items. Additionally, an event to follow the official virtual YouTuber Pring Cotton's channel will be held on-site, and users visiting with their children will receive a special 'Poring' bag as a gift.

Kim Seong-jin, Business PM for Ragnarok Online at Gravity, stated, "We planned this event to share our future plans and gather feedback directly from the users who have loved Ragnarok Online for so long, as a way to express our gratitude and provide an even more satisfying service." He added, "As this is an event where families are also invited, we hope everyone creates wonderful memories with Ragnarok Online. We also encourage those who cannot attend in person to tune in to our live broadcast."
