'Keria' Ryu Min-seok gave fans at the home ground event a surprise gift: he has signed a contract extension with T1, keeping him with the team through the 2029 season.
T1 announced on the 26th that it has signed a three-year contract extension with 'Keria' during the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) home-ground fan meeting held at Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon.
After starting as a trainee at Kingzone DragonX (now DRX), he made his LCK debut in 2020. He immediately made his mark with exceptional mechanics and playmaking, earning the nickname 'all-time genius prodigy.' He then began building his career in earnest after transferring to T1 the following year.
After lifting his first championship trophy at the 2022 LCK Spring, 'Keria' cemented his status as the world's best support player by winning the 2023 World Championship, a title he maintained by helping the team achieve a historic three-peat at the tournament. He was also selected for the national team for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, where he won a gold medal.
'Keria' had previously signed a two-year renewal with T1 in late 2024, shortly after his second consecutive World Championship victory, with an expiration date of November 16, 2026. However, with this year's three-year extension, he is now set to remain with T1 until 2029. Barring any unforeseen changes, he will have worn the T1 uniform for nine years since joining the team in 2021.
