NCSoft Corp. (co-CEOs Taekjin Kim and Byungmoo Park; hereafter NC) has announced that its MMORPG THRONE AND LIBERTY (developer: FirstSpark Games, CEO Moon-Young Choi) will be expanding its global service and introducing a large-scale update.

NC and Amazon Games will, beginning on September 18, broaden the global service regions for TL on Steam. Players in the Asian market, including Korea and Taiwan (hereafter “Region 1”), will also gain access to the Amazon Games–operated global version of TL. The global version will additionally provide Korean text and voice, along with Traditional Chinese text. Meanwhile, TL’s Region 1 service delivered through NC’s PURPLE platform will continue to run independently as before.

NC had already launched TL in Region 1 via PURPLE in December 2023. Then in October 2024, the company, in partnership with global publisher Amazon Games, began offering the TL global service across North, Central, and South America, Europe, Oceania, and Japan.

• Heroic Tier 3 gear

• A Housing system for decorating homes and using them as social hubs
